🧠 I used to overthink a lot. Throughout my self-development journey, I learned to keep my balance between body and mind. But as the proverb says: “What’s bred in the bone will come out in the flesh”.
😱 At the beginning of the lockdown, my mind was spinning around! Why, how, what am I going to do? At the same time, I realised that I had developed resilience through the inner peace I had cultivated.
💆♀️ Previously, I would have overthought for weeks. This time, I used my calming tools, stayed centred in the present moment and was able to stop the constant chattering. The outside events didn’t throw me out of my core.
🧘♀️ I used the simplest available technic: meditation. Every time life hits hard; I realise that of all the methods I know, meditation remains the most powerful. No wonder it is 3.000 years old!
🕉️By being calm and centred in yourself, you are less impacted by outside events and you remain focused to make the best decisions for yourself.
